Robert Pease, Managing Partner
Robert Pease leads Long Way Ventures as well as predecessor Cascade Seed Funds as Managing Partner. Prior to launching Cascade Seed Fund in 2019, he held Venture Partner roles across the five Cascade Angels Funds. He has led over 70 investments across Cascade Funds and has been an early stage investor since 2011.
Prior to Cascade, Pease was a founder, member of the executive team and product lead across six venture-backed startups experiencing success, failure and everything in between. He began his career as a management consultant with Accenture’s Global Communications and Technology practice based in Washington, DC. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He resides in Bend, Oregon with his wife, two daughters and amazing dog Cameron.
Milena Morris, Venture Partner
Milena Morris is a Partner in Long Way Ventures and Venture Partner to the predecessor Cascade Seed Funds. She first joined Cascade Seed Fund in 2017 as an analyst where she contributed to the evaluation and support of early-stage investments through 2020.
After Cascade, Milena Morris served as Director of Business Development for four years at RallyUp, a fast-growing startup dedicated to building a comprehensive fundraising platform for nonprofits. In this role, she gained hands-on experience in the inner workings of a startup, learning the keys to growth, scaling, and sustainable impact-insights that now inform her approach to supporting founders and portfolio companies at Cascade.
Milena Morris holds a BA from the University of Denver. She resides in Bend, Oregon, with her husband, their daughter (welcomed at the end of 2024), and their goofy golden doodle, Kula.
